of topics:
In the course an
introduction is given to fluid mechanics based on the following topics
- Definition of a fluid

Fluid in rest (statics)
- Forces on bodies in a fluid in rest
- Integral balance
- The mass, momentum and energy balance for a one-dimensional flow
- The law of Bernouilli as an integral of the energy balance

Dimensional analysis and Buckingham's Pi theorem
