Detailed description of topics:
Fundamental principles underlying the design of heatexchangers condensors and evaporators, absorbers, strippers, and extractors. Dimensioning of tube heatexchangers, tray and packed columns, selection of materials of construction

  • Scheidingsprocessen; chapters 1, 2, 4, 6, and "bijlagen " I, III, IV.

Remarks (specific information about assesment, entry requirements, etc.):
Instead of the course material the chapters 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17, 21 and 22 of the above mentioned reference book can be studied.

To learn selection of suitable equipment for heattransfer. To learn to determine the dimensions of the most common equipment; tube heatexchangers, tray and packed columns.
