Detailed description of topics:

The subject covers the following aspects:

  • environmental policy

  • environmental management

  • environment and safety in the processindustries

  • capita selecta of relevant environmental technology

Hand-outs and publications of the government are being used for this purpose. A detailed discussion will be given on recycling, the law of reduced increase of yield, target group integration, risk perception, and sustainable technology. The mentioned aspects are being dealt with by cases about for instance fluor, phosphates, acid rain, dioxines, etc.

Obligatory for students Marine Technology. Examination takes place by writing a treatise or by delivering an oral presentation about a relevant environmental problem. For both oral and written exmanination students work in a couple of two persons.
