Detailed description of topics:

Orientation on mechanical engineering and marine technology, a number of examples related to container transport:

  • logistics, control of transport chains, modelling and simulation

  • truck, lay-out, resistance, drive and transmission system

  • container crane, lay-out, hoisting, efficiency

  • container ship, ship types, lay-out, dimensions, form coefficients, maximizing of pay-load

  • ship propulsion plant, load and drive characteristics

  • diesel engine, principles, indicator diagram, characteristics

  • offshore technology exploration for and production of oil offshore
