Goals:

  • Ships design is done according to iterative procedures, Innovation is difficult to incoperate, expecially concept innovations. This course gives insihgt in the design proces of ships, using a large number of case-studies and shows the triggers behind these innovations

  • Identifying the innovation triggers on the generating of new ideas for new ship concepts

  • Using creative design processes in an innovation theory and methodology
