An inspiring "werkcollege" of 6 half days, primarily intended for students of Flexible Production Automation. Content differs by the year. Recurring subjects are:

  • Structured design; methods; the creative process

  • introduction to software engineering for production systems, based on the Yourdon methodologie (SA), with extensions for Real Time application (Hatley/Pirbhai), CASE, exercise in CASE Promod. Object Orientation: paradigma and methods

  • Cases, Capita selecta concluded by visit to industry or large lab. exercise

Goals:

This course is primarily intended to present methods and tools to design large production systems to studenten with specialization in flexible production automation. Accent is on software engineering aspects
