Detailed description
of topics: The machine runs, but for how long
and what amount of maintenance is required, what machine temperatures will
occur? In this coarse the fundamental aspects of lifespan and performance of
machines and mechanisms are treated, that is tribology. Subjects included are
friction, frictional heating, loadability, stick-slip, accuracy, wear,
reliability, maintenance, lubrication and material selection. |
