Goals: This course is designed to deepen and widen the insight in operations management and to review the internal organization against external requirements. Students must be able to recognize relevant technological, economical and social aspects in order to indicate subjects for investigation. Also they must be able to trace there own position as an engineer and the role of technology. When re-engineering the processes, he or she should be aware which aspects have to be integrated into a design or have to be part of a redesign project. |
