Remarks
(specific information about assesment, entry requirements, etc.): |
Goals:
The course is designed to provide students with
methods and knowledge for the design of various types of ships and offshore units
|
Computer
use:
In the design exercise related to this course (mt111p) use is made of computer programmes for the analysis of
hydrostatics and stability, resistance and propulsion, volumes and weights etc. For the
visualisation use is made of a 3D CAD system.
