Detailed description of topics:
Further to the basic aspects of vibration and noise, as dealt with in mt832 and mt835, a more comprehensive presentation is given of the calculations related to noise and vibrations of ships. Subjects: vibration control, local vibrations, vibrations of sub-structures, propeller excitation of the hull, propeller noise, noise control, noise level prediction.
