Required enrolment for examinations (and  BSc projects)

Enrolment by means of the so-called TAS is required for all scheduled examinations as well as BSc projects. The acronym TAS stands for “Tentamen Aanmeld Systeem”, in English: “Examination Enrolment System”. TAS is available via: http://www.tas.tudelft.nl, which site includes a number of extensive help functions. For the English version press the flag button.

You must have enrolled at least 2 weeks prior to the date of examination. Enrolment is possible for the next examination period: from roughly 5 weeks prior to the period up till 2 weeks prior to the examination. For those who have been enrolled but decide not to take the examination: you have to de-enrol. De-enrolment is accomplished also via TAS and is possible up to 1 week before the examination.

If you did not enrol it is not allowed to sit the examination. Just in case of patent circumstances beyond your control by which you could not enroll, you can ask for a written statement to take the examination. In advance of the examination you can request the examination committee (Mr. Ewoud van Luik or Mrs. Louise Karreman) for such a statement.

If you start using TAS, you have to specify your personal password. This password consists of 6 characters, including at least 1 digit. For this purpose you need to register at our Office of Educational Administration: Block B, 3rd floor, room number 24, opening hours 10:00-16:00. After registration TAS is available via any of the TUDelft-student PC’s.

Enrollment for BSC projects is required according to the same procedure as described above for examinations, under the express condition that you have the responsible teacher’s permission to participate.
