  • Introduction to working in project groups.
  • Introduction to mechanical engineering and transport.
  • Truck, composition, functions of main systems and components, driving resistance, drive- and transmission system
  • Diesel Engine, types, operational principles, p,V-diagram, characteristics
  • Conceptual design of a truck, functional requirements, lay-out, choice of main systems, determination of driving resistance, driving power and efficiencies

Computer use: Search of information on internet, reporting with MS-Word.
