Remarks assessment, entry requirements, etc.:

During the course a mechanization project is carried out. Attendance is obligatory.

Learning goals:

To provide methods for definition and analysis of machine functions, find conceptual (mechanism) solutions systematically and to develop the concept to a working machine.

Computer use:

Use of a dedicated PC software.

Laboratory project(s):

The project work is focussed on mechanism design. Use will be made of various analysis and synthesis software.

Design content:

Design of all kinds of special machinery for discrete production (mechanization). Design aspects: technical and economical demands, conceptual design, finding mechanisms to perform the required motions (synthesis)

Percentage of design:  100 %
