Detailed description of topics:

See catalog data - the content varies from year to year

Course material:

  • this will be made available on Blackboard

References from literature:

  • some literature will be made available, other you will have to find and assimilate yourself

Remarks assessment, entry requirements, etc.:

The assesment is based on a written exam but also on short presentations given by the students based on the assignments and the related literature survey. Active participation in discussion during the course is a bonus.

Learning goals:

To obtain skills in presentation of your work based on the assigments and literature survey. To get an appreciation of the challenges, uncertainties and rewards available in performing research. To be open to feedback, comments and criticism in mutual discussion. To gain insight in some of the current research topics in polymer science.

Computer use:

MS Powerpoint, literature search Web of Science, Google etc.
