Detailed description of topics:
This
course provides a general overview of art history and archaeology. It is
intended for students with a technical background. Prior knowledge in the
humanities is not required. The course is an introduction to the main style
periods of the visual arts, ranging from the early Stone Age to Contemporary
Art. The course also covers the main themes of artistic representation in
different periods. |
