| Detailed description of topics:P.1: Instruction for drawing of the ship construction using NUPAS ( a CAD/CAM/CAE
software package based upon the xEagle drawing program). Making a set up of the midship
section plan, and plotting. Exercises using the macro language of xEagle. Compulsory
excursion to a yard with a lecture on the aspects of implementation of CAD/CAM/CAE in
practice.
P.2: Making a shell expansion based upon the linesplan as made for mt085P D2. Set up of
a sections plan, using the production parameters of a yard and the scantlings as
determined in exercise mt082P. Finally a passage time, required capacity plus area and
other production related aspects have to be worked out.

- Examination:The credits as based upon the results of the exercise has to be 6 or
higher

- Examination: The credits obtained has to be 6 or higher.
- Admission: the exercise is open for students that have succesfully finished mt700 and
mt800 and also followed the courses of mt710, while the relevant parts of the exercises
mt081P (linesplan) and mt082P (report midship section) have to be finished.
- Application: registrationforms will be present on the announcement board at start of the
5th quintal.
