Detailed description of topics:

The course provides students with a specific knowledge with respect to the design of micro engineering parts. The course deals with detailed description of representative parts along with the discussion of design strategies, tools and optimum choices. The most important parts within the course are micro engineering bearings, spring elements, micro transducers and magnetic circuits. During the entire course the aspects of minimum friction, minimum dimensions, low energy comsumption, accuracy and reliability are the most important features of the discussed parts.
