description of topics: Kinematics, rectilinear and curvilinear motions in R2 and R3; rectangular and polar coordinates, relative motions, constraints.Dynamics of a particle and systems of particles. Newton's Second Law, rectilinear and curvilinear motion, work, energy, momentum and moment of momentum. Vibrations, damped and undamped systems with free or constrained vibrations; energy balance. |
