of topics:
Application of
energy transfer by conduction, convection and radiation in process equipment;
condensation and boiling, resistance in series, film theory. Principles of
heat integration, exergy analysis and pinch tecnoklogy.
Principles for the selections and
design of heat transfer equipment
Equipment: Shell & tube heat
exchangers, plate heat exchangers, double pipe HEX, finned tube HEX, air
cooled HEX, furnaces, condensers and (re-)boilers;
