Research Theme		Company Strategy by using Scenarios and Simulation
Brief Explanation		Strategy development is important for companies. A lot of what-if questions need a answer. Scenarios are a tool used to describe the future and make lines between present and future. Simulation is used as a tool verifying different ideas. The topic for the research project is to combine the tools to one strong tool.
Research Steps		1. Literature survey (one month) 2. Get familiar with the tools (one month) 3. Tool development (three months)
Period		5 months, but can be extended as a 10-month project
Necessary Background, Knowledge, Skills		Fundamental knowledge about manufacturing systems. Computer programming skills. If necessary, some references can be specified.
