Research Theme

Identification and simulation of a SCARA robot

Brief Explanation

This project focuses on identification of the inertial and frictional parameters of an IBM SCARA robot. After thorough identification, the obtained parameters will be used to simulate and control the motions of the robot.

Research Steps

1. Literature survey (one month)

2. Developing a simulator in Python (one month)

3. Implementing various self-organization algorithms on the simulator (two months)

4. Analysis of simulation results (one month)
