Research Theme |
Control of Pneumatic
Actuated Robot |
|
Brief Explanation |
An antagonistic pair
of pneumatic actuators gathers research attention because of its mechanical
similarity to biological systems.
However, controlling it is difficult since its dynamics is
complicated. In this study, we
design not only the controller, but also the mechanism and re-design the task
to realize energy-efficient and high-speed movement. |
|
Research Steps |
1. Literature survey (one
month) 2. Developing a pneumatic
actuated robot (one month) 3. Learning to control
the robot (one months) 4. Developing a
controller and testing on the robot (two month) |
|
Period |
10-month project
including hardware experiments. |
