Research Theme |
Laser applied cutting
edge profile measurement for 3D micromachining |
|
Brief Explanation |
In order to realize
high reliability and productivity in micromachining process, it is important
to develop on-machine measurement technique, which enables to evaluate
cutting edge profile with sub-micrometer accuracy during operation. In this
study, laser measurement method will be applied to evaluate cutting edge
profile of micro ball-endmill which is used for 3D micromachining. |
