Group Name

Machine Control

Research Theme

Control of Industrial Robotic Manipulator

Brief Explanation

Control system design with high performance is a crucial issue for industrial robots.  Robotic mechanical arms should be regulated while vibration is controlled and velocity and acceleration are constrained.  In this study, advanced two-degree of freedom control will be applied to an industrial robotic manipulator.

Research Steps

1. Literature survey (one month)

2. System modeling and identification (two months)

3. Controller design based on dynamical models and the simulator (three months)

4. Controller implementation and experiments using an industrial robot (three month)

5. Analysis and evaluation of the results (one month)

Period

10 months.
