Research Theme

Dynamic Management Architecture for Production System

Brief Explanation

An enlarged, complicated and high flexible production system is needed to satisfy various requirements to production. In this environment, a dynamic management architecture is required. In this study, the concept of an autonomous and distributed production scheduling system using parts and packets unification technology will be proposed.

Research Steps

1. Literature survey (one month)

2. Proposing an autonomous and distributed production system (two months)

3. Implementing a production system (two months)

Period

5 months, but can be extended as a 10-month project, including verification by virtual factory simulation.

Necessary Background, Knowledge, Skills

Fundamental knowledge about autonomous and distributed production system.

Computer programming skills.

If necessary, some references can be specified.
