Group Name |
Composite Materials |
Research Theme |
Damage mechanics of Composites |
Brief Explanation |
The woven fabric composites have some advantages like easy handling and high lateral strength. Woven fabric laminate consist of a pile of woven layers impregnated with a resin. The research topics are to investigate an effect of the disorder of pile-up on damage development under tensile load by experiment and to analyze the FEM based on damage mechanics |
Research Steps |
1. Literature survey (one month) 2. Preparing of specimens (one month) 3. Study of the algorithms on damage mechanics (two months) 4. Analysis of FEM (one month) |
Period |
5 months |
