Modelling
and optimisation of product development processes |
|
Brief
Explanation |
Companies
in different industries increasingly model and optimize their business and
product development processes in order to enhance quality and reduce
development times. Research
topics are á development
of new concepts for the modelling and optimization of development processes and á best
use and enhancement of human knowledge and competence. |
|
Research
Steps |
1.
Literature survey and analysis on differences in
Japanese and European development processes and process optimization
strategies (especially mechatronics) (1,5 month); 2.
Analysis and evaluation of existing concepts for development
process modelling (1,5 month); 3.
Specification for a software system supporting the
modelling and optimization of development processes (2 month). |
