Research Theme

Self-Organization in Artificial Systems

Brief Explanation

Self-organization is an important feature of biological systems. As man-made systems are becoming more complicated, self-organization is an interesting option to control such systems. In this study, a variety of self-organization algorithms will be applied to manufacturing systems control.

Research Steps

1. Literature survey (one month)

2. Developing a simulator in Python (one month)

3. Implementing various self-organization algorithms on the simulator (two months)

4. Analysis of simulation results (one month)

Period

5 months.
