Research Theme		(Active) air bearings
Brief Explanation		For the suspension of planar table the design and modeling of an active air bearing is targeted.
Research Steps		1. Literature survey (two months) 2. Concept design and modeling (two to three months) 3.
Period		5 months, but can be extended as a 10-month project, by including device realization and testing.
Necessary Background, Knowledge, Skills		Matlab, FEM modelling If necessary, some references can be specified.
