|
Research Theme |
Application of
Electrostatics in Mechatronics |
|
Brief Explanation |
Electrostatics has
been widely utilized in micro-mechatronics, such as particle handling and
micro-actuators. On the other hand, however, applications of electrostatics
into macro-region of mechatronics were not yet studied well. In this research
project, we are going to develop mechatronic devices utilizing electrostatic
force. |
|
Research Steps |
(Tentative plan) 1. Literature survey (one
month) 2. Practice on electrostatic
experiments (one month) 3. Device design &
fabrication (four months) 4. Experiments (three
months) 5. Writing the final
report (one month) |
|
Period |
10 months |
