Research Theme		Human-machine interaction using mechatronic devices
Brief Explanation		In this research project, we are going to develop human-machine interaction/collaboration systems that can physically assist or cooperate with human operators utilizing mechatronic sensors and actuators.
Research Steps		(Tentative plan) 1. Literature survey (one month) 2. Design & fabrication of prototypes (four months) 3. Experiments (three months) 4. Building up demonstration system (one month) 5. Writing the final report (one month)
Period		10 months
Necessary Background, Knowledge, Skills		Fundamental knowledge about control theory. Computer programming skills.
