Detailed description of topics:

Failure mode analysis give good insight in how a machine element can fail and what reason cause the failure. In this course the learning goal is focussed at predicting the probability of failure and the effect of failure at machine operating.

In this course you will fulfill some experiments including statistical data analysis. Secondly, you will study report the effect of the experimental results at machine reliability.
