Outline of the programm (final two years):

The main goal of the programm Technical Marketing is to teach and train the student towards a technical engineer who is also able to understand marketing en commercial aspects of technical businesses.

Businesses tend to get more and more complex and integrated in terms of products (and systems) and organisations. Therefor functions within an organisation tend to integrate as well. As a marketeer, an engineer should be able to understand this growing complexity and anticipate on changes that will happen, both within his own organisation as well as withing the organisation of the customers. He has to be a communicator and a social engaged person.

The main part of the programm is (of course) focussed on Technical

Marketing. Two courses deal with the main pinciples of marketing, two courses aim at market research (and the specific way to research industrial markets) and two course are centered around the core of business to business marketing.

All of the above specifications are integrated in the programm of Technical

Marketing. The Technical Marketing Programm is therefor a fullblown marketing course. It meets the NIMA B standards.

Students can join the programm within all traditional main

'Afstudeervakgroepen'. It depends on the professor how the total programm is finalised. Students are advised to both contact there own professor (of the 'afstudeervakgroep') and professor Santema to tune the courses to specific requirements.
